I was surprised and delighted to find out just how much information it covered in easy to understand ways.
It's more of a guide with recipes and ideas to healthy options.

The Healthy Urban Kitchen Cook Book is written by New Yorker, Antonio Valladares he’s been featured in such well-known publications as the New York Times, Women’s Day, Sports Illustrated and others.

The book itself gets to grips with the fundamentals of healthy cooking, get away from unhealthy foods (even ones that say are “healthy”) and get to know the truth about nutrition.

It’s about how to create a healthy life-style, lose weight, overcome health issues as well as easy ways to cook in order to feel amazing, improve energy, and start to really look good from the inside out.

It covers such topics as healthy heart, metabolism and weight loss, looks at the immune system and thyroid function as well as healthy skin for a more youthful look.

There’s over 100 recipes that are easy, delicious and satisfying. It tells you what foods and ingredients will trigger allergies, depression, skin breakouts etc. and how
to turn healthy recipes into scrumptious meals.

It also goes into the shopping side of things which is a real bonus in my mind. There’s a guide to Farmers Markets and Local Food resources. It shows you the simplest way to shop and cook and the instructions are extremely easy.

This kitchen book also looks at the cookware what is the safest and healthiest and what gadgets you really need in your kitchen.
It has cooking secrets from chefs who are nutrition experts as well.

If you really want to get into a great life-style change this book is about organic, grass-fed meats, fresh foods, natural sweeteners and a whole lot more.

I am also impressed by the follow up. Each month new ideas and recipes are send so that no boredom can set in. This is inspiring for anyone using it as a weight loss program or who is just into healthy life style.
